The scholarship for all students who also belong to Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and former Fata which are newly merge in provinces. Eligibility Criteria for Aiou Scholarship:

  • Newly enrolled students in Spring program 2024
  • AIOU Continuing Students also can apply.
  • Enrolled in 2nd Semester onwards.
  • Student parents or guardian Annual income is less than Rs. 400,000/-.
  • The student will produce an income certificate showing annual income as per Performa designed and attached.
  • Failed students in any semester will not be able to apply
  • Government employee children’s will provide the salary slip

  • After fee concession, deposit the remaining amount if asked by the respective Regional Director/Representative through Bank Challan in the ALLIED BANK LTD. of your city. (Bank draft shall not be accepted.)
  • Attach the original Bank Challan, original admission form/continuing form, and above-mentioned documents along with this application form and submit to your concerned REGIONAL OFFICE before the due date

Allama Iqbal Open University Aiou announce Good News Associate Degree and BA/BSc programs. This decision is made during online meeting of AIOU regional directors. There is also another announcement is made as AIOU is going to be introduced 5th Semester Programs for 2 years of Associate Degree and BA BSC Students. This is good decision for the students of AIOU as early, BA or ADA programs offer to the AIOU students, but now student who are interested in BS program and complete their 16 years education they enjoy BS/BSc programs. After this announcement, students have good opportunity as if they are studying in BA, BSc and any associate degree then they can enroll themselves in any degree of AIOU. HEC has demolished the Master’s Degree Programs MA MSC.

These programs are offers in spring 2023 admission programs who are worried in BA, BSc or associate degree, then male & female can avail themselves from this opportunity by getting aiou admission in 5th Semester Programs for 2 years of Associate Degree and BA BSC Students. This meeting held with Vice-Chancellor (VC) AIOU, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood, in the chair. The meeting was attended by all 54 regional directors of AIOU. The main purpose of this meeting it to increase literacy rate and improve education. The VC appreciated the efforts of Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum, former VC AIOU, and said that he played an important role in expanding the regional campuses. He ordered all regional heads to give special attention to the improve the quality of education and stated that students should be provided all the facilities they need to excel in educational activities.

Allama Iqbal Open university is well established organization and every year trying to improve the education quality. It is one of good educational departments. AIOU regional campuses received a lot of admission every year, and the VC has praised the efforts of regional campuses. Director General (DG) of Regional Services AIOU, Dr. Malik Tauqir Ahmed Khan, stated that the directorate monitors the performance and receives weekly reports from all regional directors.

This meeting is proved beneficial for the candidates who desired to have good career but not satisfied from their current degree and want to continue their study with beneficial diploma course. Eligibility Criteria for Aiou Scholarship:

Afghan national with strong academic background are encouraged to apply. The applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Undergraduate:

  • Applicants should have completed 12 years or equivalent education.
  • The age limit is 17-23 years before closing date of application.
  • Minimum marks in Shahadatnama should be 75% (Afghanistan)/60% as per IBCC equivalency.
  • Medical and Engineering students must fulfill PM&DC and PEC admission criteria of 65% and 60% respectively.

​MS/M.Phil:

  • The age limit is 35 years for non-faculty members and 40 years for faculty members.
  • Candidates must have completed 16nyars of education.
  • Minimum 2.5 CGPA or equivalent out of 4.0 is required in Bachelor’s/Mater’s degree (16 years of education)

​PhD:

  • The age limit is 35 years for non-faculty members and 40 years of faculty members.
  • Candidates must have completed 18 years of education (MS/MPhil degree).
  • Minimum 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 is required in MS/MPhil degree.

Allama Iqbal Open University has announced aiou exam schedule 2024 for overseas students. According to university officials those students who are enrolled in spring semester as overseas must be ready for exam that are going to conduct according given schedule. The aiou will take in camera online exam of matric, FA, and I.Com exams, according to the notice.

Examination will start from 13th September and all international students will access his/her LMS account to proper check important information regarding study guides, exam schedules, and roll number slips.However aiou exam controller Mian Muhammad Riaz has stated that cameras and the videoconferencing program Microsoft Teams would be used for close supervision of the tests to maintain openness and honesty.All examination arrangements already has been completed.

Before that allama open university provide relief to those students who are affected in flood. Those aiou students from Sindh (other than Karachi), Balochistan, Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), and Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) who are currently enrolled in the university’s matric nd intermediate programs will be excused from paying any application fees for the upcoming autumn semester 2024.

Allama Iqbal Open University Aiou Entry Test admission date has been announced for multiple programs include M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs. The students who are looking for admission date in aiou may ready for entry test that will held from 26 to 31 August in across all aiou campuses. Moreover the merit list of m.phil and PhD program will be uploaded on official website on 5 September and the second on 12 September.

Before that the aiou matric fa date sheet has been uploaded on the university website while the roll number slips have been uploaded to the CMS account of the students. The roll number slips have also been sent to the students by post. The concerned students have also been informed about the exams through mobile SMS.

The final exams of Matric, Intermediate, and I.Com programs for semester Spring 2024 will commence simultaneously across the country from 1 September and end on 3 October.

Moreover, the second phase of admissions to BA, BS, BA (Associate Degree), BBA, and certificate courses will also commence on 1 September.The prospectus and admission forms will be made available on AIOU’s website on 1 September. The admission forms can be submitted online only.
